Vedic Janampatri

1. Calculation Summary

Your chart is calculated on the server from the entered birth date, exact local time, latitude, and longitude. The AI interprets the resulting chart; it does not invent or recalculate chart facts.

2. Deterministic Calculations

The calculation engine uses Astronomy Engine for geocentric apparent planetary positions and derives the historical IANA time zone from the birth coordinates.

• Reference system: Sidereal zodiac using a documented Lahiri ayanamsa approximation, whole-sign houses, and the mean lunar node.
• Chart factors: Lagna, planetary signs and degrees, houses, Nakshatra/Pada, Tithi, Yoga, Karana, retrograde status, and classical aspects.
• Timing and rules: Vimshottari Mahadasha/Antardasha, a stated Mangal Dosha rule, current Sade Sati status, and a defined set of classical yogas.
• Numerology: A deterministic Life Path (Bhagyank) calculation based on the entered date.

3. Interpretative Intelligence

The generated narrative is constrained to the computed chart JSON. Palmistry and selected cards remain subjective, symbolic interpretations.

4. Multi-Modal Analysis

• Computer Vision (Hastarekha): If a palm image is uploaded, advanced image recognition analyzes the major lines (Heart, Head, Life, Fate) to corroborate astrological findings.
• Digital Synchronicity (Prashna): The Tarot card selection utilizes digital synchronicity to simulate the "Prashna" (Question) chart, providing guidance for the immediate moment.

5. Limitations

Ayanamsa, node choice, house system, dosha cancellations, and yoga definitions vary between traditions. The Lahiri value used here is a polynomial approximation rather than Swiss Ephemeris. Astrology and palmistry are interpretive practices, and the report is for spiritual reflection and entertainment—not medical, legal, or financial advice.
